After playing a lot of this game I agree with other fans that Front Mission should only be a tactical RPG series. This game seemed interesting since it was an action mecha game more like Armored Core. But like most mecha games the control is sluggish and awkward, and this game is worst than most. After a while I did get used to it and it was fun for a while. But then you start having storyline changes to your mech's equipment, which most of the time made it weaker than what I was using. This was annoying and made levels harder than they should have been. Combine this annoyance with some bad level design and your controller might not survive long. The mecha customization isn't bad and you can get some sweet mechas, until the storyline modifies it for you. The story was okay, but not as complex as past games and the graphics were okay for PS3. It looked a lot like a smoothed PS2 title. The sound was pretty good though and helped get you in the battles. All around this is okay at best. And unless you are a hardcore, play every Front Mission game fan, I probably wouldn't recommend it. But if you are, I might not recommend it either.
