Quake 4 is a pretty fun game. It looks really good and runs pretty smooth, with some pretty awesome visuals. It's easy to play and has a lot of bloody action. There's a good variety of weapons and aliens to use them on. Overall this game is a pretty cool mindless shooter that sort of has a story between the action. I would have to say this is probably how I think Doom 3 should have been more like. Just take away the Sci-fi and add some horror aspects from the depths of hell and that'd be more how Doom 3 should be. Lots of mindless killing of the hordes of hell! Anyways, this one has lots of action like the original Quakes, just looks a lot better. But like Doom 3, it isn't really keeping my interest since I have other stuff to play. Mainly F.E.A.R at the moment, which I like better. On a side note, am I the only one that thinks some of the soldiers look too much like the Master Chief (Halo)?
