F.E.A.R. has intrigued me since I downloaded the demo a while back. It seemed to be a pretty sweet FPS with cutting edge graphics. But also seemed to have a dark side, the type that'll make you pull the covers over your eyes and cry. I was hoping it'd be another Undying, a great FPS that'll scare your pants off but still offers a great story. Well so far this game isn't too far off. From what I've played, it's defiantly a freaky game. It's hard to play with headphones, you get so much into it that anything we'll freak you out. This game sets the mood nicely with eerie music and creepy stuff that happens. But it also provides the fun of killing lots of soldiers before they can kill you. It does a good job of balancing it and making it suddenly scary once the action dies down. Plus so far there's a decent story leading you through this game. This is also one that the kiddies shouldn't be playing. It's VERY mature. There isn't just lots of blood covering the walls after a firefight, but this has some of the most mature language I've seen in a game.
