I rarely give up on a game, especially if I've spent the effort to get a copy. But this game disappointed me and kept getting disappointed. There's a lot I didn't like about it, more than I did. The game looks great, but once I played Half-Life 2 it wasn't so awesome. Anyways back to Doom 3. The main thing that got me was the control. Some places just got to be too much a pain to try to jump to. And I'm not the only one to have a problem. Plus there wasn't enough huge areas to encounter tons of enemies, or the variety of enemies. I know it tried to be more then a mindless shooter like old doom games, but for some reason it made me with it was. I will probably give it another chance, but right now I have too many cooler things to check out.
