Darksiders was a very fun action packed third person shooter. It has a unique take on the apocalypse and heaven and hell. (Not the right one though.) You play as
War, one of the four horseman. You get summoned early before all the seals, that are keeping the apocalypse at bay, are broken. You are then banished to Earth and have to in a way "clear your name". The story is pretty cool, and needs to be continued in a sequel. The ame looks great. The character models are pretty cool
looking. The gameplay is a lot of fun. It is very similar to God of War though. Which I liked since God of War is awesome, and that type of gameplay is fun. There
are various weapons and lots of moves you can purchase with souls from enemies. Sort of similar to the red orbs in God of War. But unlike God of War, you don't
have to worry about missing some to build up all your weapons. Enemies respawn and keep givin them to you, after while you do get less though. There are quite a few secrets to find which makes there be some good replay value. I almost got all the trophies, and secrets my first time through. That's why I have a good amount of
hours on the game. (You could probably beat it in 15-20 hours if you wanted to.) But I will have to play it again on a harder difficulty to get the rest. Plus there
are some things now I know to get earlier my second time through that will help with what I still need to do.
