BloodRayne is a game I've seen around for a while, but have never played it. I've been wanting to check it out lately and seeing it got okay reviews and since it's a bloody vampire action game. I finally picked up a copy the other day from a nearby game store for $10. I've only played an hour or so, but so far it seems like a cool game once you get used to it's downsides. Firstly, this game has pretty awkward controls. There are al sorts of settings, but they all are weird. But it didn't take to long to get used to this. Graphically this game doesn't come close to the PS2 games that are coming out now, but this game still looks nice. It seems to have some nice environments and characters. The enemy monsters are sort of basic looking also. This game has some good action. You can run around slashing monsters with your knives, or use a variety of weapons that you can pick up or get from monsters. But so far the action gets sort of amusing and looks funny. Hopefully there will be a lot cooler things you can do. The previews I've seen for this do look better than what I've seen so far. So maybe that'll mean this game will get better as I play it. But for a $10 action game I can't complain too much. I'll just have to keep playing to find out if it's as good as I've seen.
